Held at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago annually, NeoCon is the world’s leading event for the commercial design industry. For exhibitors, the bar is high to attract the world’s architects and interior designers into their space with visually stunning displays and products. J+J Flooring Group chose Mandy Lamb Design to create an amazing space incorporating the products from their newest flooring collection, The Solar Study. Inspired by the power of the sun, Cyanotypes (an early form of photograph with a blue hue) were featured en mass complemented with a singular bright sign illuminated from within. The products installed on the floor were all shown in blue colorways, which was echoed in the strong blue variants within the cyanotypes shown on the wall. Three other artists collaborated with me to create the hundreds of prints, including Justin Kropp, Abi Ogle, and Roy Uptain.
